I'll post a few pics, I've had the car almost 2 years at this point. This is the mod list I had posted on AA.
Day after I brought it home:
Some parts:
A few weeks later:
At this point it was getting 45 MPG on long trips, and 37-39 daily. Ran consistant 15.7's at the track. Later on in June I gutted the rear seats out and ran a 15.39@88.
Then, it happened.
I got angry and broke the transmission. 7600 launches are not friendly.
Sent the dif pin through the top and bottom of the case.
So I bought some go-fast stuff. Most of it you can't tell is go fast stuff. I didn't take pics of the head, or the cam, or the new header. I also took out the A/C and P/S. I hadn't had a belt on it since April or so, so I wasn't using it anyway.
To this (sorry about the hacked wiring harness, I'll clean it up this winter).
It was about this point I put in a Spec clutch. FUCK SPEC CLUTCHES. I put 7K miles on mine and it started slipping. Fuck all of them.
I drove it for a while, then found the trans I put in was coming apart.
January Metal:
Euro spec tails:
April transmission Metal:
So, I put in YET ANOTHER transmission and clutch. Clutch master stage 3 clutch, and an 01 neon r/t transmission with a phantom grip limited slip differential.
I drove it for a while, then ran it at the track. 15.004@93.5 (2.114) all motor, 14.08@101 (2.083) on spray (sprayed 2nd through 4th).
Did some driver mods: 14.660@93.5 all motor (2.044).
Borrowed a huge pair of slicks and sprayed first: 13.5@103 with a 2.06 60'.

Things are changing big time. I sold the head, cam, and cam gear for $530, and I bought a built motor for $500. It has 12.5:1 wiseco pistons, eagle rods, it's been bored .040" over, has a .400" lift cam with 282/282 duration. It should put down 180WHP all motor, and eventually I'm going to spray it. For now, I've got to change the head gasket, timing belt, and get 30lb injectors to run E85 in it. Eventually, it's going to be fully gutted down to a steering wheel, shifter, pedals, and seat. At that point, I'll pull the tags off of it, and do a standalone.
